CastorTroy of the Mississippi Gulf Coast loves to rock. The music is simultaneously strong and sensitive, revealing songwriting that understands the complexity of the human spirit. Rife with startling emotional texture, CastorTroy's songs are red-blooded and heartfelt, the instruments blending in a perfect layering that is spacious, lush and encompassing. The band formed just before Hurricane Katrina hit their home area, and that experience only served to make them stronger and more determined.

CastorTroy has already had its brushes with the big time; the band has already been found worthy to share the stage with Staind, Saliva, Hinder, Three Days Grace, Blackstone Cherry, Revelation Theory, and Egypt Central, and they played before more than 10,000 at last year's CPR Fest X in Biloxi, Mississippi after winning the Bud Big Stage Search III band competition.. Besides a full-length CD (Where Do I Go From Here) and a live DVD already available, the foursome is set to release an EP, Patience Above, on Rock Ridge Music in August. The EP was recorded at Rivergate Studios in Gautier, Mississippi with Chris Henderson, guitarist for 3 Doors Down, behind the boards. Patience Above was mixed and masterd by Geoff Ott (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains) at London Bridge Studio in Seattle. Says Henderson: "Castor Troy is a hard working rock band. It’s evident in their music. They are one of the few bands out there that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and go after what they believe in."

In addition to Scott on vocals, the band moving listeners everywhere they go is completed by Marcus Trebotich (bass), Matt White (drums), and Michael Dunnaway (guitar).
